HyKat HN-043 is a strong acid, macroporous, palladium-doped polymer-based resin catalyst in the form of spherical beads with sulfonic acid groups. It is highly suitable for use as a versatile heterogeneous catalyst for organic reactions. With its macroporous structure, high crosslinking degree, and excellent mechanical stability, the catalyst can be stably applied in both polar and non-polar media.
HyKat HN-043 is specifically designed for hydroisomerization and etherification reactions. It is particularly suitable for the production of the gasoline additives MTBE and TAME when the feed stream contains small amounts of gums-forming dienes and acetylenes. Thanks to its optimized pore structure and active component distribution, the catalyst ensures high activity and outstanding resistance to impurities, making it an ideal choice for selective hydrogenation processes in alkylation or MTBE units.
